AIC Litein hospital has been identified as a training site for fifth-year medical students doing electives rotation in both Kenyan and international universities including Nairobi University, Kenyatta University Maseno University, Moi University and Egerton University.
The hospital also provides nursing placements for students from Kabarak University and St. Clare mission hospital’s nursing school in Kaplong.

Vision: To be a model training institution in the region and beyond by producing competent multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
Our History
AIC Litein Medical Training college began with its first intake of students for the three-year medical laboratory training. In 2013 the college introduced a diploma in nursing following approval by the nursing council of Kenya
On August 21st, 2015 the AIC Litein medical training college was officially opened by the cabinet secretary of health James Macharia
In 2017 the MTC added a three-year diploma in clinical medicine and surgery to the list of courses country
At the moment the medical training college offers a diploma in nursing (KRCHN) and a Diploma in medical laboratory sciences.
Management of the MTC is also planning on introducing a three-year diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery next year.
