Ijara Technical and Vocational College

Ijara Technical and Vocational College (ITVC) is a government institution located at Masalani in Ijara constituency, Garissa County.

ITCV is a center of excellence for Air Conditioning and Refrigeration. 

ITVC admits both Government Sponsored and Self-Sponsored trainees. The Government-Sponsored trainees are placed at the College by the Kenya University and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS).  Self-sponsored trainees are required to make applications directly to the College by completing the application forms that can be obtained at the College or online on our website.

ITVC works closely with other Government agencies such as; Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS), Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA), Higher Education Loans Board (HELB), among others, to ensure that the College aligns itself to the various statutory requirements and policies.

Ijara Technical and Vocational College is mandated to offer courses at certificate, diploma, and higher diploma levels. This is in line with the need to produce technologists and technicians who will play a significant role in the achievement of Vision 2030.
