Kendege Technical and Vocational College is a middle-level public institution and is a centre of excellence in Mechanical Engineering.
Kandege TVC is one of the 60 Technical and Vocational College that opened its doors to training in September 2019.
Kandege TVC is the only centre in this region with the state of earth equipment in Mechanical Engineering (Production).
Currently, Kandege TVC is really growing in terms of the number of trainees distributed in five departments namely; mechanical and automotive engineering, electrical and electronics, applied science, building and civil engineering and information communication technology (ICT). The college is a centre of excellence in mechanical engineering with two modern workshops with the latest art equipment.

Kendege Technical and Vocational College was started through an ACT of parliament and is among the first 60 colleges that were started at the constituency level. The College is located approximately 3 KM from Kehancha Town in Kuria East Constituency, Kuria East Subcounty in Migori County. The construction of the college started in 2015 and was commissioned on 10/11/2018 by His Excellency Dr. William Ruto Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya.
The college has admitted the first students on 6th September 2019. To date we have about 400 students and the numbers are on the increase.
The college has a board of Governors appointed by the Cabinet secretary Education are involved in the management of the Institution.
The college has enough land for future expansion and even for running other learning activities like in Agriculture. The future for Kendege is very bright.
