Kenya Forestry College
Kenya Forestry College is a registered TVETA Institution created through section 17 of the Forest Conservation Management Act of 2016.
The College is a technical institution that serves as a training arm of Kenya Forest Service a Parastatal within the Ministry of Environment and Forestry. As tertiary institutions, we train personnel required in the forest and closely related sub-sectors. The Statute establishes a Board of Directors which formulates policies for administration and management of the College.
Kenya Forestry College provides technical courses in Forestry, related fields, and also capacity-building short courses for the staff of Kenya Forest Service and other external clients.
The college is formally registered as a legally established Technical Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA). It is also registered as a member of the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service(KUCCPS).
The college is located within 4152 hectares Masaita Forest Block, Londiani - Kericho county.
