Matili Technical Training Institute (MaTTI) is a middel level public institution that anchored on its Vision which is to be a Centre of excellence in technical training and research in Science, Technology and Innovation and its Mission which is to produce highly qualified personnel, with knowledge, skills and competencies to meet the ever changing societal and industrial needs.
Matili Technical Training Institute is a Center of Excellence in Mechanical engineering which is an epitome of industry and is endowed with Modern CNS machines that are rare in other institutions in the country. This gives us a competitive edge and advantages Trainees and those wishing to train the said field Besides other courses.
Furthermore, MaTTI offer Diploma, Certificate(craft) as well as Artisan courses in the following departments: Building and civil engineering, electrical and electronics, Mechanical and Automotive engineering, ICT, Food and Beverage production and service, Clothing and Textile, Hair dressing and Beauty Therapy & Business courses. Matili Technical Training Institute's ICT Department is rich with Digital Resources and our Internet connectivity is strong. We traverse the four walls of the classroom and we’re equipped to offer E- Learning on various platforms. Most of our services are Digitized and we look forward to increase our Digital influence internally and externally.

Our History
Matili Technical Training Institute was established in 1959 as a Vocational Youth Center that was elevated to a Youth Polytechnic in 1971, then a Village Polytechnic under the sponsorship of the Friends Church.
The Institute was elevated to its current status in April 2009 when it was moved from the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports to the Ministry of higher Education, Science and Technology and certified to offer courses in Craft and Diploma levels.
