Moiben Technical and Vocational College is a middle-level public college situated in Moiben Township, Moiben Sub-County of Uasin Gishu County, and is 20 km off Eldoret – Iten road to the north.
Moiben TVC has a current population of 500 students, a strong force of 30 qualified Trainers and a number of essential staff.

Why study at Moiben Technical & Vocational College
Moiben Technical and Vocational College offers Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET). CBET is a new training approach in Kenyan TVET and its curriculum has already been developed by TVET Curriculum Development and Certification Council (CDACC).
Moiben TVC is already rolling out the following CBET programs.
- Automotive Engineering level 4
- Horticulture nursery management level 4
- Office Assistant level 4
Entry qualification is KCSE D (plain)
CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE
The Government of Kenya purposed to equip Automotive engineering courses with modern training and commercial equipment and hence identifying the institution as a center of excellence to train Automotive Engineering.
On May 15th, 2017 the College received a State of the Art, Automotive equipment from China courtesy of the Ministry of Education (State Department of Vocational and Technical Training) resulting in the establishment of well-equipped Automotive Workshops and Laboratories for training.
Our History
Moiben Technical and Vocational College was established in 2015 under the TVET Act 2013 as part of the Kenya Government effort to expand access to TVET and catalyze achievement of the vision 2030.
The College is situated in Moiben Township, Moiben Sub-County of Uasin Gishu County and is 20 km off Eldoret – Iten road to the north.
It has a current population of 500 students, a strong force of 30 qualified Trainers and a number of essential staff.
