Paramount Chief Kinyanjui Technical Training Institute (PCKTTI) is a public institution of higher learning under the Ministry of Education State Department for Vocational and Technical Training. PCKTTI is situated in a serene environment conducive for learning and teaching. Our vision is "to be the centre of excellence in Technical Industrial, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training", we believe that school leavers who do not get the opportunity to join universities deserve a chance to pursue their goals in life. This is possible by enrolling in one of the technical courses offered in P C Kinyanjui Technical Training Institute.
The PC Kinyanjui Technical Training Institute is located on Kaberia Road in Riruta satellite Dagoretti South Constituency in the county of Nairobi. The school is about 400 m (1,300 ft) from Riruta satellite police station, next to Orthodox college of Africa and approximately 8.2 km (5.1 mi) from Nairobi's central business district.
The institute believes in team work, professionalism and integrity. Our staffs are highly qualified and are offered an opportunity to advance their skills in order to keep abreast with the changing technology. In order to compete favorably with other training institutions, PCKTTI embraced Performance Contracting and the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System PCKTTI acquired ISO 9001:2015 certification by the Kenya Bureau of Standards in May 2011.
Our History
P.C. Kinyanjui Technical Training Institute started in 1979 as a Technical Secondary School with a population of 160 students. The vision to establish the Technical School was borne by His Excellency, the late Mzee Jomo Kenyatta, the First President of the Republic of Kenya.
The elders donated pieces of land that were consolidated in 1958 as trust land and reserved for future development of Kinyanjui Memorial High School in honour of the late Paramount Chief Kinyanjui wa Gathirimu who reigned between 1893 ? 1929 in the region in which we are.
At its inception the institute offered training at artisan and craft certificate courses to the growing numbers of standard eight and form four leavers of the 8.4.4. system of education. The institute today offers a wide range of diploma and certificate courses.

Through embracing of Performance Contracting and ISO 9001:2015 certification, the institute has registered tremendous improvement in students' performance and service delivery.
