Alice Italian Food Institute

Alice Italian Food Academy is an actual Cuisine Academy; the boys and girls who stay in Alice Twins House, the campus within Alice Village, attend four-month specialization courses which are taught by Italian cuisine professors and integrated with workshops with real chefs.

The project Italian Cuisine in Kenya has only one goal: to train our young boys and girls in insight into a professional future. 

The professional school of Italian cuisine was created with the help of the professional institute Carlo Porta in Milano, Cucchiaio d’Argento, and Federazione Italiana Cuochi, Alice for Children’s partners, with the aim of supporting our staff in Kenya in creating an educational plan, lessons and laboratories.

The Academy aims to address unemployment in Kenya by creating a future for young people. This will be achieved by equipping the youth with cooking skills.
