Katine Technical Training Institute is a middle-level Government sponsored training institute located 1.5 KM from Tala market, Matungulu Constituency, Machakos County along Kangundo Road.

Katine Technical Training Institute offers diverse academic programs in the fields of Building and Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics, Business and Entrepreneurship, ICT, Agricultural, Fashion, and Design.

There are vibrant co-curricular activities undertaken in the Institute and these include sports and games that range from athletics, ball games, in-door games, drama, and music.  The students also get chances to participate in recognized professional clubs and societies that encompass religion, taekwondo, wildlife, scouts & Red Cross, among others.
