Konoin Technical Training Institute (KOTTI) is one of the tertiary institutions that were established by the government in February 2017, targeting thousands of youths across the country. The institute was registered in November 2016 under Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in the Ministry of Education Science and Technology (MOEST) as one of the Technical Training Institutes in Kenya. The Institute is governed by the Board of Governors (BOG) and is being run by the Top Management. KOTTI has a total enrolment of two thousand, two hundred and sixty (2,260) students. The population grew tremendously following the offer by the government to assist the youths in the technical institutes. The youths in Kenya offer the largest Human Resource towards the achievement of government Big Four Agenda industrialization inclusive.
