About Nairobi Technical Training Institute
Nairobi Technical Training Institute is a middle-level college that offers Training Courses up to the Diploma level. The college offers Technical Training in Engineering Information Technology that are important tools to the realization of Kenya Vision 2030.
The Institute has continuously experienced growth both in students enrollment which currently stands at 6721. The physical infrastructure has also expanded to include new Administration offices, Health and Applied Sciences lecturer rooms, Laboratories, ICT Complex, and Learning Resource Center which is networked and has a capacity of 210 users.
The Institute’s growth has enjoyed the support of the Government of Kenya through the Ministry of Education. Through this support, the Institute has constructed a Mechanical Engineering cum Electrical and Electronic Engineering workshop under the Economic Stimulus Project (ESP).
The Institute has constructed Administration Offices / Health and Applied Sciences laboratories and Lecture Rooms to maintain the standard of training in the Department which is the National Centre of Excellence. The Centre of Excellence has also received equipment from African Development Bank through the initiative of the Ministry of Education.
The Institute operates under a Quality Management System that has enabled the maintenance of high levels of performance. This has led to the Certification of the Institute to the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Standards by the Kenya Bureau of Standards.
The development of the website is an endorsement of NTTI's commitment to ensure the renewal and transformation of NTTI. It is an expression of our shared resolve to adapt and embrace change in a bid to guide and turn our Institute into a first-choice institution for Technical Training in line with our Mission: To develop highly skilled graduates in Technical, Vocational, Innovation, Business, and Research for the global market.
