NITA Textile Training Institute (N-TTI) is centre under the National Industrial Training Authority (NITA) - a semi-autonomous Government agency established under the Industrial Training (Amendment) Act 2011 for the purpose of regulating industrial training in Kenya. It is located along Commercial Street, Industrial Area, Nairobi.
The Centre offers a wide range of courses geared towards the textile value chain in Spinning, Weaving, Processing and Garment Making. It has a vertically integrated cotton, cotton-blend based simulation of a textile processing mill. The training offered drives the Authority’s Vision forward of being“a globally competitive and adequate workforce for industrial development”, in the Textile and Apparel Sector, Leather goods and products and multi-disciplinary fields that support the Textile, Clothing and Fashion industry.

The training programmes at NITA Textile Training Institute are aimed at apprentices sponsored by industry and self-sponsored trainees. They include Apprenticeship, supervisory and operator programmes, conducted at the institute or in-house, where industrial training levy paid by employers is used to support in full or in part the cost of training.
Tailor made courses, in-house and skill upgrading courses can be designed to meet the specific needs and requirements an organisation/group with same interest. N-TTI and the client set the objectives, topics, location, course length and number of participants.
