About Nyahururu Medical Training College
Nyahururu Medical Training College (NMTC) is located at the boundary of Laikipia and Nyandarua Counties in Ziwani Estate, along Nyahururu –Nyeri Road. It started its operations in February 2016 as a center for Continuing Professional Development for medical and health allied professionals. In July 2016, it was accredited by the Nursing Council of Kenya and admitted its pioneer class of thirty (30) students for training in the Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing (KRCHN) programme.
In April 2017, NMTC was approved for the training in Diploma and Certificate in Health Records and Information Technology (HRIT). This was a major milestone for the college as it put the college on its path to becoming a comprehensive medical training college.
