About Nyandarua National Polytechnic
Nyandarua National Polytechnic (NNP) is the only national polytechnic in Nyandarua County and is located seven kilometers from Nyahururu Town along the Nyahururu - Gilgil road in a serene environment conducive for learning. The polytechnic is guided by the value of integrity, commitment and fairness while upholding the principles of professionalism, teamwork, and excellence. The nature and quality of training offered by a team of qualified and professional lecturers gives the basis for us to realize the vision 2030.
In addition to providing academic and technical skills, we seek to develop in our student's creativity and innovation that enables them to integrate successfully in all areas of management in the public and private sectors.
The Nyandarua National Polytechnic prides itself in having attained the ISO 9001:2015 certification. The road to certification has given us the impetus to develop homegrown quality objectives to improve service to our customers. Through the achievement of these objectives, we continuously make tremendous progress in contributing to the realization of our strategic plan and the Kenya Vision 2030.

In line with our endeavor to produce holistic graduates, our Institute is a recognized member of the President’s Award Scheme Kenya which encourages selfless participation of young people in the service of the public. TNNP offers a number of Courses in Diploma and Certificate levels examined by KNEC and KASNEB NIST is fully accredited by the Ministry of Education as a TVET Institution. The institute has various facilities for co-curricular activities ranging from Sports and Games, Drama, Scouting, PA, Christian Union, Catholic Association and Guidance and Counseling.
