Sabatia Technical and Vocational College

Sabatia Technical and Vocational College is located in Sabatia Sub County, Vihiga County of the Western part of Kenya. The College is located in Lotego Village within Busali Ward off the Kisumu –Chavakali – Kapsabet – Eldoret road. It is one of the TVET Colleges born out of the government’s effort to start at least one College for every constituency. It was officially started in 2017. The College has been earmarked to be a center of excellence in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and Computer Studies/ICT. It has been equipped with state-of-the-art training equipment in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.

The College is now focusing on ensuring that its training programmes meet the challenges arising from rapid technological advancement. Its programmes are aligned to the implementation of the TVET Act, 2013, and other education policies and labor market changes.  As a TVET training College under the Ministry of Education, (MOE) Sabatia TVC, has prioritized Access and Equity, Quality and Relevance, ICT Integration into Education and Training, Research, Science, Technology, and Innovation.
