Kenya Registered Nursing and Midwifery (KRNM) graduates will be qualified to provide care to general hospital patients and will also be able to provide reproductive health care to expectant mothers, laboring mothers, postpartum mothers, and care for the newborns.

Midwives have a crucial role to play in promoting health and happiness. KRNM students gain skills in efficient communication and information dissemination with a variety of women and their families.

Sessions are held on a variety of topics, including the value and position of women in society, the promotion of safe motherhood through human rights, the impact of traditional beliefs, practices, and taboos on women's health during pregnancy and childbirth, the identification and mitigation of risk factors, the idea of delay as it relates to maternal death, and HIV/AIDS and safe motherhood.
