Accountancy
Accountancy is the practice of recording, classifying and reporting on business transactions for a business. It provides feedback to management regarding the financial results and status of an organization.
This Certificate in Accountancy provides trainees with sufficient knowledge and skill to perform competently and with minor supervision, the accounting functions in an organization. It encompasses both theoretical and professional aspects of accounting as a discipline and as a profession.
The course is intended to give the trainee an all-round view of accounting by exposing them to appropriate subjects. The graduate is envisaged to play a critical role in promoting transparency and accountability among institutions as well as promoting enterprise success through proper accounting records and informed decisions.
Upon completing this Accountancy program you will be able to work as a billing clerk, payables clerk, cashier, or payroll clerk.
