Computerised Embroidery

Embroidery is the activity of decorating a piece of cloth or other materials with stitches sewn onto it. Computerized embroidery machines are specialized machines that can create embroidery from computerized designs.
This Certificate in Computerized Embroidery program introduces students into the world of embroidery using specialised machines that can create embroidery from computerized designs. The program teaches the skills needed to operate a computerized embroidery machine. The program covers topics such as machine functions design software and sewing techniques.
Students learn how to set up and operate the machine select fabrics and threads and adjust stitch length and width. They also learn how to create and edit designs using software programs.
Upon completion of the course students will be able to select appropriate frames and fabrics for a variety of embroidery designs set up and operate a computerized embroidery machine and produce high-quality embroidered pieces.
