Land Surveying
This three year Diploma in Land Surveying provides students the in-depth knowledge of engineering, architecture, and geography skills they need to be able to establish boundaries of land, water, and airspace in order to determine ownership, development, and use.
Professionals in this field use new and developing technologies such as GPS, satellite imagery, laser scanning and fast computing to create complex layers of interconnected geographic information.
Today surveyors can measure position very accurately. Geo-spatial information constantly reveals new insights about our world and our place in it.
Most of the surveyors have informal education, through work experience, restricting their growth option. This course meets the long felt need for skilled manpower in this field. There is also a huge demand of land surveyors in foreign countries.
