About Artisan Certificate in Masonry
Masonry consists of building structures from single units that are laid and bound together with mortar. Brick, stone and concrete blocks are the most common materials used in masonry construction.
This masonry artisan certificate program teaches students to assemble structures from individual units, from materials such as stone, marble and other local materials. Students interested in developing the skills needed for a masonry career are highly encouraged to enroll into this program.
The Artisan Certificate in Masonry is intended to equip trainees with knowledge and skills in the area of Masonry, Site measurements, Foundation works, walling, plaster works and finishes.
Graduates find employment in the field as masons, and, with experience, as foremen.
