Entry requirement

  • Holders of Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE)  with an aggregate of C and a grade of at least C-  in Chemistry or Physical Sciences.
  • Holders of KCE/EACE with a Division III and at least a credit in Chemistry or Physical Sciences.
  • Holders of a certificate in Leather Technology, Foot wear or Leather Goods with credit pass.
  • Holders of a certificate in Leather Technology, Foot wear or Leather Goods with a pass and two years of experience.
  • Holders of an “A” level certificate with a minimum of one subsidiary pass in chemistry.
  • Equivalent qualification to the above from institutions recognized by the Institute’s Examination Council.
