The Artisan in Fashion Design course aims at producing competent tailors/dress makers capable of making various types of garments suitable for men, women and children.
Fashion design and garment making technology program promotes the trade of fashion and design through technical training which moulds students into fashion designers. Through study of color, fabric, sewing, technique and design, students learn the cornerstones of creating garments and offering them to clientele.

Garment making is an organized activity consisting of sequential processes such as laying, marking, cutting, stitching, checking, finishing, pressing and packaging. This is a process of converting raw materials into finished products.
